Contraction of the skeletal muscles helps limbs and other body parts move. Most sources state that there are over 650 named skeletal muscles in the human body, although some figures go up to as many as 840. The dissension comes from those that count the muscles within a complex muscle.

I am young, only 63 but I started falling pretty frequently this summer anytime the terrain was rough or uneven.  I broke my arm twice in 3 months. I thought maybe I needed a revision of previous hip surgery because I had no strength at all in my left leg. Dr. Logan adjusted me and checked leg strength again and it was almost magically back. He gave me a belt to wear (for a freaking long time) to help keep my pelvis stable while things healed. I told him I still couldn't straighten my arm from my second fracture that didn't require surgery but broke a piece off of my elbow. He took my arm, checked some range of motion and then did a few little tweaks that allowed me to straighten it, and gave me exercises. The first visit I kept saying "you are amazing" with every different adjustment He did that improved function for me. I continued with follow up to maintain until he told me I was now normal, in fact better than normal. Some would debate that....Dr Logan is my guy for any musculoskeletal problem with function bc I plan to herd sheep until I am 100 like my mom.  She is only 86

Every time I go to see him, he adjusts me differently and really helps me understand why my body feels this way. It’s not just snap, crackle, pop, and goodbye. Great guy and great chiropractor. My son was waking up in the middle of the night complaining about his ankle hurting. Dr. Logan not only adjusted him (ankle, back, everything), he also explained what collapsed arches were, and how to fix it.
And then he also shared some interesting things about calcium and other supplements that could help with my son’s growth.
My son hasn’t had those issues since!
He really cares about his patients, and really wants them to live healthy and pain-free lives. Tip: while you are there, pick his brain on any nutritional areas you may be lacking in. He knows his stuff!

We've been on the road for a while and have not been able to see our usual chiropractor. Dr. Logan got me in quickly and was able to do a highly effective full adjustment. Highly recommended to anyone living in or traveling through Cedar City! As a bonus, he also carried a large variety of Standard Process supplements and was willing to provide me with the ones I needed.
